December 18, 2011 Night School of Rock Totally Christmas Show
December 18th, 2011. Two months prior to this date, (on October 30th), I began producing and broadcasting a three hour live internet radio show, called "Night School of Rock". I had never done anything like this ever before, and started out cold, but the bug bit me quick, and every second was a blast, even though it was painfully obvious that I didn't have "the chops". Still, I didn't care. 🤷 I loved doing it. But, I digress. Back to December 18th... I had an idea to do a "Totally Christmas Show" featuring nothing but Christmas Music with an Old Time Radio break in the middle hour. I didn't expect the volume of song requests that I got for this show, so all I can mostly remember about it is searching feverishly for the many unexpected songs that I hadn't planned for, 🤣 but the listener interest and interaction was priceless! -BUT- I'm really glad I was able to record it. A good time seemed to be had by all, including me. I've recently listen to it again, and realized that there are some good folks mentioned during the broadcast who are no longer with us.
